Horrific video from the Central Tibetan Administration showing the Chinese military inflicting terrible injuries and damage while torturing Tibetan monks and civilians. Sendar, pictured, was one of those victims.
We must warn you that some of the wounds pictured are very graphic. They are so serious that they resulted in one victim's death.The video shows Chinese soldiers attacking and beating helpless handcuffed monks and civilians. Tibet remains under Martial Law. Countless numbers have been arrested. 1,000's have been murdered or disappeared over the last year. An estimated 1.5 million Tibetans have died at the hands of the Chinese in Tibet.
Sendar, one of the victims in the video was fired at, beaten, burned with cigarette butts, pierced with a nail in his right foot and severely beaten with an electric baton. After being tortured, the Chinese brought him to a military hospital where they did not even give him basic treatment for the wounds they inflicted, so the skin around his wounds began to rot. When he finally got to the TAR People's Hospital, the doctors and nurses were shocked. They did all they could, but they could not save him. He died on Jun 19, 2008.
